For Job Seekers (Free)
Is GoLoc8 Talent free for job seekers?
Yes. Job seekers can create a profile, set preferences, and be discoverable to UK employers for free.
Do I need a CV?
No. A CV is optional. You can use a CV if you have one, but your GoLoc8 profile is designed to capture what matters most for matching: what you want, where you can work, and what you’re open to.
Will my current employer see me?
You control your visibility. You can choose to:
be discoverable to employers, or
keep a lower profile and only engage with employers you choose.
How do I avoid spam messages?
You control outreach through your preferences. You can set what roles you’ll respond to (e.g., salary range, working pattern, location) and you can block/report any employer.
Can I use GoLoc8 if I’m not actively looking?
Yes. Set your status to something like “open to the right role” and define what “right” means (salary, commute, hybrid, role type).
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. You can delete your account at any time. Your profile will no longer be visible once deleted.

Can I post roles as well as search?
Yes. You can post roles for inbound interest, and you can also search the talent pool and approach suitable candidates directly.
Do you replace recruiters?
No. GoLoc8 Talent is a tool that improves match quality and reduces wasted time. Recruiters and internal teams can use it to generate stronger shortlists faster.
Do you verify candidates?
We use practical checks like email/phone verification and encourage truthful profiles. Employers should still run their usual checks (right to work, references, screening) as part of their standard hiring process.
Pricing (Founding Member)
How much does GoLoc8 Talent cost for employers?
Founding Member pricing is £99 per month and includes up to 2 hires.
It’s a rolling monthly contract, and you can cancel with one month’s notice.
What counts as a “hire”?
A hire is counted when a candidate accepts your offer and starts (or is confirmed to start). If you want, we can define this clearly in your Terms (e.g., “start date confirmed in writing”) to avoid ambiguity.
What happens if I want more than 2 hires in a month?
You can upgrade or add additional hire capacity. (If you don’t have tiers yet, phrase this as: “Contact us and we’ll arrange additional capacity.”)
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes — it’s rolling monthly. You can cancel with one month’s notice.
Are there any extra fees (e.g., per job post)?
For Founding Members in 2026, the pricing is £99/month for up to 2 hires from the time GoLoc8 Talent launches.
Privacy, Safety & GDPR (UK)
Is GoLoc8 Talent UK-only?
Yes. GoLoc8 Talent is focused on UK roles and UK-based job seekers/employers.
How do you handle GDPR and privacy?
We follow GDPR principles: clear consent, data minimisation, access controls and secure storage. Job seekers control their visibility and can delete their account.
Do you sell job seeker data?
No. We don’t sell personal data. Data is used to provide matching and platform functionality.
Can users report bad behaviour?
Yes. Job seekers and employers can block/report accounts. We review reports and can restrict or remove users who breach our rules.
